Job summary

A national multi-disciplinary organization in the UK is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor. The role involves conducting surveys across commercial sites and compiling reports. Candidates must have relevant asbestos certifications (BOHS P402), excellent communication skills, and a UK driving license. This position requires flexibility for travel and after-hours work. Competitive salary of £34,000 - £40,000 with guaranteed overtime.

Qualifications

  • You must hold relevant asbestos surveyor certifications (BOHS P402) and have a minimum of 6 months field experience.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
  • You need to have flexibility for commuting and completing any out of hours work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on various types of properties.
  • Compile comprehensive reports for clients.
  • Ensure all work meets UKAS standards and adheres to HSG:264.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

This is your chance to join a national, multi-disciplinary organisation as an asbestos surveyor as they push to expand their reach across the UK

Asbestos surveying will be done across only commercial sites throughout the North so you will need to be willing and able to travel with this role.

Requirements for an Asbestos Surveyor
  • You must hold the relevant asbestos surveyor certifications (BOHS P402) along with a minimum of 6 months field experience.
  • Other additional requirements include a full UK driving license, excellent communication skills, broad knowledge of HSG264 and have the flexibility to commute and complete any out of hours work which will be required.
As an Asbestos Surveyor you will be involved in
  • Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys on a wide range of properties in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
  • Compiling comprehensive reports to be sent to clients.
  • Ensuring all work carried out is to UKAS standards and in line with HSG:264.
  • Building and maintain strong client relationships.
