Job description

Our client is a well-regarded asbestos consultancy providing a wide range of asbestos consultancy services to clients across the UK. The company is actively seeking to employ a versatile and skilled Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Maidstone area. The ideal applicant will hold the P403/4 and will have a wealth of experience carrying out analytical duties such as personal air-testing. 4 stage clearance and re-occupation on a range of site and contract types. Applications from Rochester, Rainham, Staplehurst, Tonbridge and the surrounding areas will be taken into consideration.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ideally, the applicant must hold the P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualifications and at the same time must have varied and valid experience working within this role and within the asbestos parameter.
• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.
• Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Duties:

• Undertaking 4 stage clearances, smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, re-occupation and personal air-testing on various properties, including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety legislation appertaining to asbestos.
• Collating and producing comprehensive reports as and when required.
• Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients/customers.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, have good work ethic and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Must be prepared to travel to sites designated by the client.
