Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k +Training +Benefits

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Project Manager through to Lead Asbestos Project Manager

Profile: A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy who work across Local Authority, Healthcare, Housing association, and Facilities management sites across the UK are now wanting to employ a driven and diligent Asbestos Project Manager based in and around the Chelmsford area. The successful candidate will come from a strong asbestos background, ideally having worked as an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst, holding the P402, P403, P404 qualifications. The successful candidate will manage the company’s mixed portfolio of sites, providing quotations, RAMS, and site audits in line with client needs.

Applications will be considered from: Basildon, Wickford, Witham, Billericay, Southend-on-Sea, Braintree, Canvey Island, Romford, Dagenham, Brentwood, Rainham, Grays, Stanford-le-hope, Rayleigh, Rochford, Colchester, Dartford, Gravesend, Chatham, Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford, Enfield, St Albans, Stevenage, Luton, Hitchin, Bletchley.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Will hold the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) and ideally hold the CCP or CoCA qualification.
• Experience working within the Asbestos industry, ideally as a hands‑on Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst.
• Will have excellent communication, managerial and technical skills.
• Proficient in using internal and external databases.
• Excellent working knowledge of relevant Health and Safety / HSG guidelines.

The Role:

• Managing a range of Healthcare, Local Authority, and Industrial clients, maintaining contracts, alongside developing and building new relationships.
• Providing clients with quotations for asbestos services and any consultancy work requires.
• Developing a strong understanding of the company’s mixed portfolio of clients, alongside securing more business.
• Communicating with other departments efficiently.
• Undertaking training for clients and dealing with any technical queries.
• Using information to produce detailed reports and following up with technical advice.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Producing site specific RAMS and carrying out site audits, reporting any analytical findings.
