Due to consistent growth and business requirement, this successful asbestos company is actively seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Asbestos Contracts Manager to oversee a variety of contracts in and around the London area. Undertaking daily tasks such as Overseeing and operating on various sectors, completing tenders and PPQs and carrying out audits to ensure that all work is being carried out in line with H&S and the companies policy. Consideration will be given to applications from Basildon, Ashford, Maidstone, Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & experience:

• The applicant must come from a strong management, contracts, technical and office background.
• Will be fully conversant with asbestos Health & Safety legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive experience working in this role within asbestos industry.
• Competent with Microsoft office package.

Role

• Overseeing and operating on various sectors, including commercial, public and industrial.
• Management and organisation of workforce.
• Assessing potential contracts, estimating and completing risk assessments, etc.
• Completing tenders and PPQ’s.
• Carrying out audits ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and company policy.
• Preparing method statements necessary for the work completed – ASB5 notification.
• Building and maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.
• Producing a monthly management reports.
