Job description

Our client is offering a valuable opportunity to join a highly-acclaimed asbestos company with a large nationwide client base. This company is currently seeking the services of an experienced and multi‑skilled Asbestos Consultant / Project Manager based in the London area. The successful applicant will hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates and will have excellent hands‑on experience carrying out technical asbestos surveys and air monitoring duties to a varied site base. In return the company are offering the opportunity to under‑take a split site / project management role. Applications from Watford, Slough, Enfield, Twickenham and surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • The applicant must hold the P402/3/4 asbestos certificates or the RSPH equivalent.
  • Have experience working in this role within the asbestos industry (e.g. project management, surveying).
  • Good working knowledge of asbestos health & safety procedures.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out management, refurbishment and demolition surveys on a wide variety of properties.
  • Write and review technical and survey reports effectively.
  • Plan abatement and survey works in accordance with current legislation.
  • Manage and supervise surveyors/analysts/contractors and office staff.
  • Ensure health & safety procedures are adhered to in relation to asbestos.
  • Liaise with the company’s clients and deal with any issues appropriately.
