Overview

Art Teacher role based in Berkshire with a January 2026 start. Full-time, permanent contract. Eligible for QTS-qualified teachers or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and imaginative Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 teaching available depending on experience).
  • Inspire students to explore a variety of media, techniques, and artistic styles.
  • Support students in building strong portfolios and achieving high standards in both practical and theoretical components.
  • Encourage creativity, self-expression, and critical evaluation of artistic work.
  • Participate in art-related extracurricular clubs, school exhibitions, and community art projects.
  • Work collaboratively within the department and across the school to enhance the cultural life of the school.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
