Art Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from January 2026

This is an exciting opportunity for an Art Teacher to join a school that fosters creativity and high standards of teaching and learning. Staff work collaboratively to create engaging lessons and promote a positive learning culture.

Duties as Art Teacher
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons across Key Stages
  • Inspire creativity and develop pupils’ artistic skills through a range of techniques and media
  • Prepare pupils for assessments and provide constructive feedback to support progress
  • Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
  • Ensure safeguarding and well-being practices are consistently applied
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
Ideal Art Teacher
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Must be an Art specialist with strong subject knowledge
  • Previous experience teaching Art in secondary settings

  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
