Job Summary

25 hours per week term‑time only plus 10 days, permanent contract. GSAL point 13 salary is £25,581 for a full‑time equivalent, with an actual salary for 25 hours of £14,084 per annum.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable and creative ADT Technician to join our friendly Art, Design and Technology team, supporting colleagues and students across Art, Design, Technology and particularly Food Technology.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials and equipment for lessons.
  • Maintain specialist rooms and stores.
  • Support colleagues and students in practical sessions, especially within Food Technology.
  • Ensure lessons run smoothly, safely and creatively.
  • Help bring ideas to life in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Qualifications
  • Practical, organised and enjoys staying on top of things.
  • Creative and keen to support hands‑on learning.
  • Good communicator who works well with colleagues and students.
  • Proactive, adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail‑focused with pride in keeping spaces tidy and well‑run.
  • Skills in photography would be an advantage.
  • A genuine "can‑do" approach and enthusiasm.
