Overview

Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for your next role? We are looking for an Art and Design teacher for an Outstanding school located in St Albans to start on a full or part time basis from January 2026. This is a well run and busy school who are looking for support within their Art and DT teams. Teaching across key stage 3 and 4 this role will cover Art as well as the RM side of Technology. There is scope for a permanent post for July 2026 for those who excel and are keen to find a permanent post to make your own. The post is suitable for experienced teachers, instructors and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience teaching Art and DT in the UK to Pupils in Key stages 3 & 4
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for supporting students on their educating journey
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to nurturing creativity and supporting student achievement
Location & Transport

The school has good transport links from the main station and ample parking for those commuting by car from the local area including Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Watford and Borehamwood.
