Overview

Role: A dynamic and proactive sales professional to join a leading manufacturer of insulation and roofing systems. This field-based role will focus on developing business across the North of England and Scotland, working with national merchants, specialist distributors, independents, and buying groups. OTE: £55,000+ (Uncapped monthly commission). Benefits: Hybrid company car, laptop, phone, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, statutory pension.

Job Type: £35K Basic Salary + Monthly Uncapped Commission

Role

This role involves managing existing accounts and actively identifying new business opportunities. You’ll be selling a broad portfolio of insulation, waterproofing solutions, membranes, torch-on felts, cavity trays, and accessories. Day-to-day tasks include in-branch training, joint site visits, attending trade events, and building long-term client relationships.

  • Experience selling to or working for heavyside or specialist merchants
  • A proactive and tenacious attitude – someone who thrives in a high-activity environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills and commercial awareness
  • Roofing or insulation knowledge is advantageous, but not essential
  • Suitable for experienced field sales professionals or ambitious assistant/branch managers ready to take the next step
