Role responsibilities
  • The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development professional will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts for a leading global manufacturer of high-performance, precision-engineering products.
  • Maintaining precision engineering/mechanical product and system sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Responsible for pre-sales technical assistance as well as providing end solution/application support for all customer needs/requirements.
  • Provide after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required to customers within a variety of industries such as Oil & Gas, renewables, defence, and more.
  • Work remotely / field-based covering a sales patch, dependent on home location.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
  • The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of precision engineering or industrial engineering products such as gaskets, seals, fasteners, bolting, or CNC machining, as well as hot forging and threading.
  • Experience selling or managing key accounts for Precision Engineering products such as gaskets, Seals, Fasteners, and similar products/systems is highly desirable; however, having sold similar Precision Engineering products into related industries is also of interest.
  • Candidates with proven sales experience in industries such as Oil & Gas, power generation, renewables, defence, and nuclear are strongly advised to apply.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the determined patch.
