Overview

My client are a looking for an Area Sales Manager to join their team. They are a multinational brand name manufacturer of engineering tools, selling to the engineering and OEM marketplace. They manufacture and sell industrial tools, speciality tools, aviation tools, torque and tension tools and diagnostic tools. Typical customers include OEMs such as Aerospace, manufacturing, military, rail and the education market place (colleges). Their products are of the highest quality and the company have a great reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • The role of Area Sales Manager/Account Manager is to grow and develop business within the vast existing customer account base.
  • Build relationships with clients, stay on top of their requirements and quote when they are looking to purchase.
  • Sell a premium product based on quality and durability through a consultative sales process.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to grow turnover in your area to increase earning potential.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years B2B field-based and technical selling experience.
  • Experience selling to OEMs and covering a large territory.
  • IT literate and willing to undertake extensive technical product training.
  • Role requires staying away 1-2 nights a week due to the large area.
  • Previous roles considered: Field Sales Executive, Technical Sales Executive, Regional Sales Manager, Account Manager, BDM, Business Development Manager, Territory Sales Executive or Area Sales Manager.
