Area Sales Manager - South East England

Our client has a position available as an Area Sales Manager for South East England.

This position will cover Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, and the northern part of Greater London.

The role involves managing a very active and successful sales area, serving a varied customer base including OEMs, End Users, and Distributors.

Requirements:

  • Reporting to the Southern Regional Manager, the ideal candidate will have proven experience in the power transmission industry, preferably selling Geared Motors and related products such as Inverters and Servo Drives.
  • Strong customer relationship and proactive selling skills are essential.
  • A solid technical background with understanding of power, speed, and torque concepts is required, ideally supported by formal qualifications such as ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of motor control, including Inverter Drives, is advantageous but not mandatory.

What will the role include?

The primary focus is on selling Geared Motors to new and existing accounts, with support for sales of other products like inverters, servos, industrial gears, and services.

While this is a home-based role requiring initiative, the ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues is vital. The candidate should reside on or near the patch.
