Job summary

An architectural recruitment firm is seeking an Architectural Technologist / Technician for a contract role in Wigan until March 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Revit and at least 2 years of experience in architectural practice, particularly in the Healthcare and Public sectors. Responsibilities include producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting planning applications. Competitive hourly rate of £20 - £30 P/H offered.

Qualifications

Aztrum are proud to announce that we will be partnering with an exciting architectural practice located in Wigan. My client is looking to appoint a motivated and performance driven Architectural Technologist / Technician on a contract basis until March 2026.

Key Responsibilities for this Architectural Technologist / Technician role :

• Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and planning policies
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to resolve technical issues
• Support planning applications and building control submissions

Key Requirements for this Architectural Technologist / Technician role :

• Strong Proficiency in Revit
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within architectural practice
• Experience in the Healthcare and Public sector
• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
• Experience in producing technical drawings and construction documentation
• Proven track record on working towards RIBA stages 0-4
