Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Support multiple projects across all RIBA stages, assisting senior staff to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery
  • Apply conservation principles under guidance for historic buildings, ensuring compliance with heritage regulations and guidelines
  • Contribute to design development and technical detailing, ensuring solutions are contextually sensitive and meet building regulations
  • Assist in managing client relationships and preparing design proposals for stakeholders
  • Conduct site visits and support quality monitoring to ensure designs meet building regulations and conservation standards
  • Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient solutions into projects where relevant
  • Assist in managing project budgets and preparing fee proposals
  • Use BIM workflows (Revit, AutoCAD, NBS) for design coordination and documentation
  • Stay informed about industry best practice, attend relevant events, and build professional networks
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognised Part 3 qualification (or equivalent professional accreditation)
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, NBS; able to produce accurate documentation and collaborate within a project team
  • Strong design capability, meticulous attention to detail, especially in both design and technical work
  • Good understanding of UK building codes, planning regulations, and statutory requirements
  • Clear communication skills- verbal and written- for clients, contractors and colleagues
  • Interest or experience in conservation architecture, with sensitivity to heritage contexts
  • Enthusiasm to learn, adapt and contribute positively within a collaborative and supportive team environment
