Job summary

A design-led architectural practice in the United Kingdom is seeking an enthusiastic Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team. LB Design Recruitment are working with a design-led architectural practice known for delivering beautifully crafted residential and bespoke projects. The studio prides itself on thoughtful design, collaborative working and a supportive culture that encourages growth and creativity.

They are looking for a keen, enthusiastic Architect or Architectural Technologist to join their team. This role is ideally suited to someone with 2–3 years’ post‑qualification experience—a great opportunity for someone ready to progress after their first position. You will gain exposure across all RIBA stages, contributing to concept design, technical development and project delivery.

Key requirements :

  • A relevant qualification – Part III, Architectural Technologist degree or similar
  • 2–3 years’ post‑qualification experience from within a UK practice
  • Interest in historic and listed buildings
  • Strong design skills with a passion for high‑quality architecture
  • Ability to work across all RIBA stages
  • Proficient in Vectorworks and SketchUp
  • Good drawing skills from feasibility through to technical packages
  • Excellent communication and team‑working abilities
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach and eagerness to learn
  • Willingness to work full‑time from the studio (office‑based role)
  • Due to the location, own transport is essential
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required
