Job description
The Role:

This Fixed-Term Contract position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Royal Aeronautical Society's (RAeS) Assessment Organisation. As the Apprenticeships Administrator, you will help ensure the smooth delivery of high quality end-point assessments for apprentices across the sector. In this dynamic role, you will support the onboarding of clients, employers and apprentices, assist with the recruitment and training of Apprenticeship Assessment Assessors, and manage a range of essential administrative duties. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate data across multiple platforms and systems, producing clear and consistent reporting and analysis to support operational excellence. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and eager to contribute to the development of future talent in the aerospace industry.

Key Objectives:
  • Support the onboarding and administration of new apprentice cohorts, clients and employers, including issuing guidance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate meetings with training providers/employers and assist with client contract administration.
  • Provide administrative support for apprentices and assessors using the e-learning system, including distributing assessment materials.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems, producing reports on uptake, outcomes, and key assessment metrics.
  • Assist with reasonable adjustments, special conditions, appeals and complaints processes.
  • Support budget and invoicing activities by gathering data, tracking income, and assisting with assessor invoice approval.
  • Administer the EPA assessor lifecycle, including applications, onboarding, training and maintaining service agreement registers.
  • Uphold all RAeS and EPA policies, escalating issues where required, and working collaboratively across the organisation.
Skills and Experience:
  • Educated to Level 4+ (Degree-level desirable) with previous administrative experience.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365; CRM and CMS experience a plus.
  • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Thrive under pressure, juggling multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the UK education and training landscape; understanding of apprenticeship policy advantageous.
  • Experience in education, apprenticeships, or working with boards/committees is a bonus.
