Job summary

A specialist recruiter for education and training is looking for an Apprentice Trainer / Skills Coach to deliver remote training to senior HR professionals. The successful candidate will hold a CIPD Level 5 and will engage and inspire apprentices throughout their learning journey. This full-time role includes adapting delivery methods to meet individual needs and involves limited travel to London or Manchester for meetings.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR, People Management, or L&D at management level.
  • Proven ability to deliver Apprenticeship Standards in HR or Coaching.
  • Confidence in managing remote delivery.

Apprenticeship Trainer / Skills Coach – HR / CIPD Apprenticeships

Location: Remote (with up to 4 in-person meetings per year in London or Manchester)

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training and coaching sessions remotely to senior HR professionals.
  • Support apprentices throughout their learning journey, ensuring they achieve all standards and milestones.
  • Adapt learning delivery to suit individual needs, learning styles, and organisational contexts.
  • Monitor progress, assess performance, and provide clear, constructive feedback to drive improvement.
Requirements
  • CIPD Level 5 (or above).
  • Strong vocational background with significant experience in HR, People Management, or L&D at management level.
  • Proven ability to engage, coach, and inspire senior professionals.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with confidence in managing remote delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse learner groups.
  • Hold a recognised Teaching and/or Assessing qualification and have experience delivering Apprenticeship Standards in HR or Coaching.
