Job description
The Role

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is seeking a proactive and detail-focused Apprenticeship Performance Officer to join our Apprenticeship Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong digital, quality, and compliance expertise who is passionate about enhancing the apprentice journey and supporting curriculum teams to deliver high-quality, compliant apprenticeship provision.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

As a key member of the Apprenticeship Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and developing our apprenticeship operating framework and digital systems. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and further developing the college’s e-portfolio system (OneFile), ensuring compliance with ESFA funding rules, Ofsted requirements, and sector best practice.
  • Supporting curriculum teams through training, guidance, and ongoing CPD to ensure confident, consistent, and effective use of OneFile and digital learning technologies.
  • Collaborating with curriculum teams to enhance apprentice learning, assessment, and progress tracking in line with apprenticeship standards and Individual Training Plans (ITPs).
  • Monitoring apprentice progress and performance data to identify risks, support timely interventions, and contribute to successful outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining clear guidance, documentation, and resources to support the apprenticeship operating framework and compliance expectations.
  • Contributing to quality improvement activities, including internal audits, self-assessment, and the implementation of innovative approaches to improve apprenticeship delivery.
