Job summary

An education training provider is seeking an Apprenticeship Assessor for Level 3 apprenticeships in Peacehaven, England. The position offers 24 hours a week during term time, working closely with the Apprenticeship Manager. Candidates should have teaching experience and excellent communication skills. This role involves managing a caseload and supporting the delivery of teaching assistant qualifications. The successful applicant will have a driving license and be willing to travel to schools. A proactive approach and willingness to undergo screening are essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience within a teaching, learning and/or assessment role.
  • Experience delivering Apprenticeship Standards and holding or working towards an Assessor qualification.
  • Proactive, with excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence, own car and willingness to travel to schools within Hull.
  • Willingness to undergo Child Protection screening, including DBS check.

  • Support the delivery of the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Assessor – Level 3 Apprenticeships

Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training is seeking to appoint an Apprenticeship Assessor for level 3 apprenticeships. The post is 24 hours per week, term time, including full days on Thursdays and Fridays. Remaining hours can be arranged to suit the successful candidate.

Yorkshire and Humber Teacher Training is a SCITT provider and registered apprenticeship provider delivering high quality apprenticeships in the education sector. We offer bespoke solutions for schools to recruit trainee teachers and apprentices and upskill their workforce.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Apprenticeship Manager and the Head of Apprenticeships.
  • Manage a caseload of learners to achieve targets, delivering the Level 3 Teaching Assistant and Level 3 Early Years Educator standards.
  • Support the delivery of the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship and functional skills Maths and English.
