Apprentice Quantity Surveyor | Consultancy | Bristol | £20,000

An established and highly respected construction consultancy is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone starting out in their career to gain hands-on experience while working towards a professional qualification within a supportive and structured environment.

The Role

As an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, you'll assist senior team members in delivering cost management services across a range of exciting projects in sectors such as commercial, residential, education and infrastructure. You will be supported through your studies and gain exposure to both pre- and post-contract stages of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract administration
  • Assisting with project budgeting and cost control
  • Attending client and site meetings with senior colleagues
  • Helping with the preparation of valuations and final accounts
  • Gaining experience with standard forms of contract such as JCT and NEC
About You
  • A genuine interest in construction and the built environment
  • Strong numerical and communication skills
  • Proactive, organised and eager to learn
  • Ideally working towards or planning to undertake a Quantity Surveying-related qualification (e.g. HNC/HND or a Degree Apprenticeship)
  • Right to work in the UK and committed to a long-term career in consultancy
