As an Apprentice Learning and Development Practitioner, you’ll be tasked with supporting the delivery of our Unrivalled Employee Experience Strategy. You will support the development and delivery of training across the Customer Directorate. This role reports directly to the Knowledge Manager and is part of the Customer Training Team. While the team operates within the People Directorate, its work has a significant impact across the Customer Directorate, supporting the development and delivery of training that enhances customer-facing capabilities.
You will be responsible for engaging with key individuals across the business to ensure training needs are met and recorded on a Training Needs Analysis, as required. You will also support the creation of training material (online and in-person) to ensure engagement, effectiveness and an unrivalled experience. Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of training, managing training plans, organising training schedules and delivering training where appropriate.
You will assess the outcomes of training delivery, engage with learners and stakeholders, and make proposals for future changes and delivery. You will also maintain our hub of online resources used by the Customer Directorate.
This role is ideal for a confident, creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education and development.
You will need strong organisational skills to manage your own workload, training development plans, schedules and project work. The role involves stakeholder engagement, reporting and training delivery, so you should have strong communication and presentation skills, and the confidence to use them.
