A leading NHS Trust in Wakefield is seeking Apprentice Enhanced Care Support Workers to provide compassionate care to patients with complex needs. You will undergo training to achieve a Clinical Support Worker apprenticeship while delivering high-quality support. An exciting opportunity to gain a qualification while supporting people with a range of complex and challenging conditions. You will learn to support people who present with behaviours that challenge, understand risk, and create a positive and safe environment for patients who require additional support during their stay in hospital. The Enhanced Care Team will recruit 17 Apprentice Enhanced Care Support Workers and Enhanced Care Support Workers to provide an enhanced level of care to patients with behaviours that challenge or those at high risk of absconding. The role is a key part of the nursing team, offering compassionate care to patients, carers, and relatives at the Trust.
You will undertake a training programme to achieve a Clinical Support Worker apprenticeship over a maximum of 16 months.
