Job summary

A leading provider of housing and community services in the UK is seeking a Customer Service Apprentice in Worcester. This role offers training for a nationally recognized qualification while gaining practical work experience in a supportive Talent Acquisition Team. Ideal candidates should possess good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and have achieved at least 2 GCSEs in Maths and English. In partnership with our training provider - HWGTA - the programme offers you a chance to study for a Customer Service Level 2 nationally recognised qualification, all whilst gaining practical work experience.

There is potential for progression to the Business and Administration Level 3 apprenticeship upon successful completion of the Level 2 programme.

What will you do?

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you will join our Talent Acquisition Team, working alongside colleagues within the Talent Team. The Learning Academy offers a range of bespoke training and qualifications to all employees within Sanctuary and this Apprenticeship will give you the unique opportunity to gain a real insight and understanding of the Talent Team function, while developing great relationships across the team.

You will provide key customer service and administration support by dealing with queries via email and telephone, sending weekly reports to the team, supporting the team with the coordination of events liaising with Training Providers and Hiring Managers, also carrying out additional duties as required.

What skills and abilities do I need to have?

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C or above (grades 4 – 9) or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Good communication skills with the confidence to take some ownership over growing your knowledge and skill set.
  • Approachable, with great interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • You will have a keen interest to learn how an organisation operates, great communication skills and plenty of initiative.
