We have 3x vacancies as a Carpenter Apprentice.
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will play a vital role in supporting the council's commitment to maintaining safe, functional, and well-presented living environments for residents across the borough. Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will assist in the maintenance, repair, and improvement of woodwork and structural elements within council-owned properties.
This practical role offers a valuable opportunity to develop hands-on carpentry skills while contributing to the wellbeing of the local community. You'll help ensure that fixtures such as doors, windows, flooring, and fittings are secure, functional, and meet safety and quality standards.
Your contribution will have a direct impact on residents' comfort and safety, and you'll gain meaningful experience in public service delivery, technical craftsmanship, and collaborative working, all within a structured and supportive apprenticeship programme.
