A local government authority in Enfield is seeking an Applications Packaging and Deployment Engineer to ensure efficient software deployment and compliance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in packaging applications using Microsoft Intune and possess robust technical documentation skills. This role includes leading application management efforts, coordinating with various stakeholders, and promoting best practices in IT services, offering a blend of remote and office-based working options.
Are you ready to play a key role in delivering and supporting critical Council infrastructure and applications? As an Applications Packaging and Deployment Engineer, you’ll be responsible for packaging, releasing, and deploying software across the organization, ensuring compliance, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
A core part of your role will be to own and maintain the Council’s central register of applications keeping it accurate, up to date, and coordinating with stakeholders to validate requirements, versioning, and licensing.
You’ll work under procedural control, sometimes supervising less senior team members, and may be required to provide out-of-hours support.
