A regional police department is looking for an Applications Engineer to provide technical support for SaaS systems like Oracle Fusion. This role involves ensuring system stability and performance while maintaining strong relationships with team members and stakeholders. The position offers a hybrid working model, blending remote work with on-site collaboration.
The Applications Engineer role is part of our specialist Applications Delivery team, a group of dedicated technical professionals committed to delivering reliable IT services that directly support policing operations through the maintenance of robust, high-availability systems.
As an Applications specialist, you will focus on the operation and support of SaaS systems including Oracle Fusion along with a range of related business applications. Your responsibilities will include responding to user queries, monitoring system performance, documenting support procedures, supporting system upgrades and maintenance activities, and contributing to ongoing service improvement initiatives.
This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with the option to collaborate in person with your wider team a couple of times per week.

Avon and Somerset Police encourage flexible working where operationally possible. This role has been identified as a blended role. The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises.
