A leading consulting firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Application Support Consultant to implement SaaS solutions in the higher education sector. You will manage the full project life cycle, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure seamless integration of systems. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and hands-on experience with testing, SQL, and data validation tools like Power BI and Excel.

My leading client has an opportunity for an Application Support Consultant / Implementation consultant - you must have experience working in the higher education area on SAAS implementations such as - Timetabling, Student Records platforms and we able to communicate with all university stakeholders i.e. academics, professional services, IT, software vendors.

You must have previous experience of implementing a SaaS product and have experience of a full project life cycle i.e. requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training deployment and post go live support and be skilled at running workshops and discovery sessions. You must have experience working alongside project managers, solution architects and system and business analysts

Technical Skills

• Hands on experience of testing environments, and release cycles
• Understanding the use of APIs, web services and data formats like JSON, XML
• Experience of supporting data integrations between university systems e.g. Student Records, HR, Finance, CRM, Timetabling etc
• SQL skills or data validation skills for testing and reconciliation
• Ability to use tools like Power BI, Excel or data hubs for verification
