Join Aon on our 12-month Investment Consulting placement and become a valued member of our elite team of specialists. Our consultants advise employers and governments on pension schemes and other assets, totalling around $4 trillion, for over 60 years.
Aon placement students join specialist teams focused on consulting with clients on investment strategies, manager selection, ESG considerations, and working with pension scheme trustees to implement long-term strategies.
Your role: Join as an investment consulting graduate in either our Defined Benefit (DB) Client Group or Defined Contribution (DC) Client Group, advising clients on investment strategies, manager selection, corporate transactions and transfers.
Whether you want to build client relationships, develop analytical skills or leverage new technologies, you’ll be supported in an inclusive environment designed for learning and growth.
During the 12-month Industrial placement, you will be enrolled on our award-winning development programme with a range of training and development activities in addition to your role. Key elements include:

Graduates are on permanent contracts from day one, so applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without visa sponsorship now or in the future; or you have pre-settled or settled status from the EU Settlement Scheme, or you have applied and are waiting for a decision.
Locations for graduate opportunities this year: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds or Glasgow.
Initial six months are in the office to support learning, development and progression. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to work more flexibly, with at least 3–4 days per week in the office or with clients.
