Are you an experienced Analytical Chemist looking for your next challenge? Join a respected scientific organisation with a strong reputation for quality and safety, playing a key role in delivering accurate, reliable testing for clients across multiple industries.

Working within a busy analytical laboratory, you'll apply and build upon your chromatography and mass spec experience performing high-quality sample analysis. You will utilise a broad range of instruments including GCMS, HPLC, IC, GC and TOF, whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with ISO and HSE standards. You'll report results clearly, support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, safety-focused culture.

Responsibilities

• Apply and build upon chromatography and mass spectrometry experience to perform high-quality sample analysis in a busy analytical laboratory.
• Utilise a broad range of instruments including GCMS, HPLC, IC, GC and TOF, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with ISO and HSE standards.
• Report results clearly; support continuous improvement and contribute to a positive, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• 2+ years' commercial laboratory experience
• A strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 procedures
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and communication skills
• Confidence maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment
