Job summary

Job details
  • Salary 41.00 to 43.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week
  • Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research to develop new chemical formulations and processes
  • Devise new technical applications of industrial chemicals and compounds
  • Analyze, synthesize, purify, modify and characterize chemical or biochemical compounds
  • Conduct research into the synthesis and properties of chemical compounds and the mechanisms of chemical reactions
  • Participate in interdisciplinary research and development projects
  • Provide clients with information
  • Conduct research in biotechnology to discover, develop and refine, and evaluate new products
  • Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, physical and chemical separation techniques and microscopy
