Function: CISO
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Flexible Across our key sites - Hybrid working
Salary: From £27700 (Non London) & £32330 (London) + excellent benefits

Within the CIO function, we are a team of passionate security professionals who are on a mission to help TSB stay safe in the age of digital disruption.

How You'll make a difference

The Security Governance Analyst is an important role, responsible for ensuring alignment to TSB’s Primary Corporate Objectives (PCO’s) managing risk for our cyber operation and the wider organisation as the assurance team within change activity.

You’ll make a difference in your role, by working closely with CISO control owners, and the business to ensure our security requirements are understood and met prior to project completion. You will support organisation wide standards and policy with respect to Cyber, and problem manage risk adversities for CISO to resolution. You will support the risk appetite metrics and control owned and operated by the team to monitor risk exposure.

What you'll bring
  • Effective stakeholder management, with the ability to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of common cyber security domains and controls that build a good security posture – using frameworks like NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, 27002 for example, which comprise our 25 security requirements.
  • Due diligence and attention to detail on information provided, problem solving within a matrix team during project delivery to ensure a win-win outcome of delivery timeline versus security requirements needed to maintain risk to a minimum.
  • Ability to use the bank’s change tooling such as SNOW, Jira, Confluence. PowerBi etc to complete reporting, ascertain information and take projects through the assurance process efficiently.

Selection process

There will likely be a 30-minute informal, exploratory chat with the Hiring Manager followed by a structured interview via Teams with the Hiring Manager plus another member of the team. Here are some of the questions you’ll be asked at interview:
