The Opportunity:

Finatal is working with a sought-after global asset manager looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Private Equity Funds investment team. This is a full lifecycle investment role with fantastic exposure across a top-tier business.

Responsibilities:

  • Build deep knowledge of the global private equity landscape, from emerging managers to upper mid-market firms across sectors and geographies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fund managers through regular update meetings, AGMs, and ongoing market engagement.
  • Support end-to-end due diligence processes: analyse fund strategies, benchmark historic performance using proprietary tools, re-underwrite portfolio companies, conduct reference calls, attend on-site meetings, and contribute to legal negotiations.
  • Draft high-quality investment memorandums and respond to Investment Committee and client queries with confidence and clarity.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background with a degree from a top-tier university.
  • 1–2 years' experience in PE Fund of Funds, asset management, placement agents, IB, or strategy consulting.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling.
  • Proactive, analytical, and organised - able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
