Our vision for this role

The team’s primary focus is to ensure our global clients have the best pricing in market. We deliver this through regular reporting and analysis of buying performance, forecasts, and understanding local market buying mechanics/trends across all media types; Digital, TV, Print, OOH and Radio. The focus of this role will be to collaborate with our in-market local agency teams, to ensure accurate reporting on our media pricing commitments and to coordinate our consolidated performance back to clients. This entry level role will give you a great understanding into media investment and each media type.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring reports are accurate through reviewing data and discussing the results with local reporting teams.
  • Coordinating and building relationships with local agency teams to collect key reporting data.
  • Monitoring and analysing the Wavemaker/ WPP Media international network of client’s media buying performance and reporting this back to the client.
  • Liaising with auditors to independently verify our performance and delivery against commitments to our clients and ensuring that best media practice is employed.
  • Work on the new business proposals including pricing.
  • Collaborate internally to ensure that the investment team are sharing best practices across all centralised teams i.e. commercial and new business.
Other Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of proprietary software through feedback and testing.

Required skills / experience

We are looking for an entry level candidate who is dedicated to delivering exceptional result for clients using their communication, organization and analytical skills. Our work requires an eye for detail and accuracy, a strong work ethic and a keen interest in working in the media industry. No experience in media is required. As part of the world’s largest media agency and working in a fast-paced industry, we are looking for someone who has an excellent willingness to learn and is able to work in an agile environment.

Other key attributes we are looking for:

  • Logical and numerate - You must be inquisitive and love working with numbers.
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills – most of the workload is based in Excel including analysis of data sets, using formulas and pivot tables, and our proprietary analysis tool.
  • Good communication/ interpersonal skills - As well as working independently, the role involves collaboration with team members and partners based in local markets.
  • Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong attention to detail.
