A health service provider in Bedford is seeking a full-time Band 3 Team Administrator to provide administrative support to the AMHP Service and Operational manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration skills, be able to work under pressure, and have experience in a mental health or NHS setting. Responsibilities include managing communications and supporting patients in crisis. The position requires strong computer literacy and the ability to work independently, contributing to the overall goal of improving patient care.
A vacancy has arisen for a full time Band 3 Team Administrator based at the Poplars Site, Houghton Regis, Dunstable and Luton and Florence Ball House, Kimbolton Road, Bedford, to support the Bedfordshire and Luton Countywide AMHP Service.
This vacancy is being advertised as a permanent full time post, Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who is flexible and has excellent administration and communication skills. You must have the ability to work unsupervised, under pressure and be able to deal sympathetically with patients and relatives of people with mental health problems, presenting in a crisis. Your main responsibilities will be to provide comprehensive administrative support to the AMHP Service and Operational manager. Previous administration experience in a mental health or other NHS setting is essential as well as experience using RiO and Microsoft office, MS Teams, Excel packages and the ability to take minutes of meetings.
You will be part of an existing team of administration staff who provide comprehensive administration / secretarial support to the Service. You should have good verbal and written communication skills
