Our client provides MAA Part 145 Aircraft support to the RAF A400M (Atlas) fleet. Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repairs and modifications to the aircraft in line with organisational policies and procedures detailed in the MOE and supporting manuals.
- Identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions.
- Maintain the work environment in a clean and safe manner using a “clean as you go” approach.
- Comply with company Safety Management System (SMS) occurrence reporting procedures and the safety policy.
- Complete aircraft paperwork to a high standard.
- Be aware of COSHH, Working at height and Manual handling safety requirements.
- Actively embrace a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the aircraft and safe use of ground equipment.
- Accurately navigate and interpret aircraft maintenance documentation.
- Carry out aircraft modifications and light structural work if required.

Candidate Essential Requirements
- Must hold a valid aircraft standards-based qualification (Apprenticeship/NVQ level 3) or aircraft related academic qualification/traineeship with a minimum 3 years recorded experience or be able to satisfy Training / Maintenance management team.
- Current Human factor initial and refresher, EWIS and SFAR 88 certificate.
- Knowledge of aeronautical regulations.
- Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Be able to successfully complete MOD security clearance.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience on A400M, Propeller or Wide body Aircraft.
- Previous exposure to (email address removed) and Amos.
- Knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) MRP Part 145 regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Proficient organisational skills and ability to work efficiently.
- IPAF/MEWP familiarisation.
Typical Working Conditions
- Primarily based in Brize Norton; travel may be required.
- Shift will be 5x5x4 – (Apply online only).
- PPE is provided and its use is mandatory in the performance of your work.

Contract Details
- Duration: 1 year contract, rolling.
- Hours: 5x5x4 shift approximately 40 hours per week with potential overtime (07:00 to 19:00).
- Pay: £30 per hour umbrella and £23.24 PAYE.
