Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading aerospace and defence client for an Electrical Aircraft Fitter to join their team at RAF Valley. You will support Line and Base Maintenance on a modern rotary-wing training fleet, focusing on electrical and avionic system inspections, repairs, and operational support.

Responsibilities
  • Electrical and avionic fault-finding, inspections, testing, and repairs
  • Support Flight Operations and aircraft readiness
  • Complete maintenance tasks to OEM instructions and safety standards
  • Assist with workshop tasks, aircraft movement, and general hangar duties
Essential Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical and avionic systems
  • Experience in Line and Base Maintenance
  • Experience with electrical/avionic test equipment
  • Apprenticeship in Aircraft Electrical Maintenance or similar
Desirable
  • Experience with Airbus Helicopters / H135
  • Experience in military aviation environments
