Overview

experienced Air Quality Engineer for immediate employment at our Chelmsford, MA office. This position is within our air permitting and compliance group.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of air permit application packages
  • Air permitting strategy development
  • Air regulatory review and compliance
  • Preparation of air emission inventories
  • Prepare proposals and cost estimates
  • Work closely with clients to develop strategies that will aid the client in maintaining compliance and operational flexibility while meeting client's expectations related to scope, budget, schedule and quality
Qualifications
  • Must have strong communication and technical writing skills, and strong math and computer skills
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering or similar field +4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • 4 years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience
  • Valid Driver's License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review
  • Due to the nature of work, US citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business development experience including proposal development
  • Experience interpreting and implementing State and Federal air quality regulations
  • 8+ years of air quality permitting and regulatory compliance experience
