Job Title: Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer.
Location: Manchester, North West

Level of Experience: Trainee Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer through to Lead Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer

Profile: A multi-discipline Environmental Company with a national presence are now seeking to recruit a knowledgeable and competent Air Hygiene / Fire Damper Engineer based in and around the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will ideally hold the TR19 ticket and will have excellent knowledge working within the Air Hygiene industry; carrying out testing, inspection, remedial and ducting work on fire dampers and ventilation systems, alongside, duct work and kitchen extract cleans.
Applications will be considered from: Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Leigh, Stockport, Warrington, Bolton, Chorley, Burley, Blackburn, Preston, Warrington, Crewe, Chester, Macclesfield, Buxton.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Will have previous experience working within the Air Hygiene / Fire Damper industry.
  • Will hold relevant TR19 Ticket and/ or Fire Damper Testing Certificate (Desirable).
  • Will have experience in installing fire damper units.
  • Excellent working knowledge of air hygiene and duct cleaning.
  • Experience carrying out Kitchen extract cleans would be beneficial.
  • Will hold Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and safety legislation.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
The Role
  • Testing, inspection, ducting and remedial work on fire dampers.
  • Maintenance of Air handling Units.
  • Kitchen Extract and ventilation cleans cleaning and disinfecting duct work.
  • Competing all relevant paperwork, ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date.
  • Liaising with clients, building and maintaining excellent rapport and ensuring any issues are dealt with efficiently.
  • Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / TR19/ COSHH regulations.
