Job Title: Air Hygiene Engineer
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
Salary / Benefits £24k – £36k + Training + Benefits

A reputable and professional provider of Air Hygiene and Grease cleaning services across the UK are now seeking to take on an Air Hygiene Engineer. You will be working predominantly on Commercial sites across the Yorkshire region. This role would suit someone who has extensive experience carrying out testing, inspecting, ducting, and remedial work on fire dampers, kitchen extract and ventilation systems. Experience carrying out duct cleans would be beneficial to the role. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate must be happy to travel in line with company and client requirements.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Rotherham, Worksop, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Wakefield, Barnsley, Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Huddersfield, Chesterfield, Mexborough, Halifax, Dewsbury, Batley.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience working hands on as an Air Hygiene Engineer for a reputable Air Hygiene / Duct Cleaning company.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of COSHH / TR19 guidelines.
  • Experience carrying out duct cleaning would be beneficial to the role.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Able to work well independently.
The Role
  • Working on predominately Commercial sites carrying out testing, inspecting, ducting, and remedial work on fire dampers.
  • Carrying out air handling unit maintenance (AHUs)
  • Kitchen extract and ventilation cleans.
  • Ensuring work carried out complies with relevant TR19 / COSHH guidelines.
  • Completing paperwork and producing detailed, site-specific reports ensuring to return to clients in a timely manner.
  • Providing clients with excellent technical advice and support when required.
