A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer to join their team in Edinburgh. The successful candidate will maintain and repair air conditioning systems, ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, and have relevant technical qualifications. Qualifications

  • Maintain and repair air conditioning equipment.
  • Work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets or ice machines.
  • Service, maintain, and repair split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems, and heat pumps.

Skills

Job Title: Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • To undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment.
  • You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multi deck or ice machines.
  • This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
Qualifications and Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
  • You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of working.
  • You will be provided opportunities for training, development, progression, and internal promotions.
