Writing Editor - Flexible

We are looking for experienced editors to help improve the quality of large language model outputs. This is a freelance position that is 100% remote with flexible hours.

Pay & Logistics

• Base Rate: US $16.07, GB £13.30, CA $20.50, AU $26.25, IE €14.60, NZ $26.00
• Bonuses: Additional pay based on project performance
• Type: Freelance/1099 contract (not an internship)
• Location: 100% remote
• Schedule: Flexible hours – you choose when and how much to work

Responsibilities

• Create natural, high-quality data that reflects how people actually use AI in practice.
• Review, compare, and rank responses generated by large language models, focusing on usefulness, clarity, and reasoning quality.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining decisions and articulating why one response is preferable.
• Contribute across a range of projects based on your skills, interests, and experience.

Qualifications

• Strong written communication and structured writing skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to craft thoughtful prompts and evaluate nuanced AI responses with sound judgment.
• Prior experience in writing or editorial roles (content strategy, technical writing, etc.).
• Background in literature, creative writing, history, philosophy, theology, or similar disciplines is a plus.
• Curiosity about AI systems, machine learning, or creative technology tools.
• Authorized to work in your country of residence; 1099 contract agreements (no sponsorship). International students may self‑sponsor if allowed under visa.
