About

CATCHES are backed by some of the most influential names in luxury fashion globally. We blend advanced 3D rendering, AI and VFX techniques to deliver unparalleled shopping experiences for luxury fashion.

We're hiring an AI Engineer to design, prototype, and ship consumer-facing AI features. You will work hands-on with LLMs and generative models to build reliable, production-ready systems that improve how fashion is explored and visualised.

Role

This role is focused on applied AI. You will run experiments, evaluate results, and turn working prototypes into shipped features. The work spans model behaviour, data, prompts, tooling, and user experience.

You will collaborate closely with platform and product engineers to ensure what you build scales, performs, and behaves predictably in real user environments.

Day to day
  • Own AI-driven product features from initial concept through prototype to production
  • Design, run, and evaluate GenAI experiments focused on user outcomes, quality, and reliability
  • Build AI workflows covering image generation, guidance models, and agent-like systems
  • Fine tune or train lightweight open source models, including LoRAs and smaller LLMs
  • Implement guardrails, safety mechanisms, and behaviour constraints for LLM-based features
  • Develop evaluation and validation approaches for model outputs and UX quality
  • Work with platform engineers to integrate models into production systems
  • Continuously improve prompts, datasets, model configurations, and UI flows based on real usage
Required experience
  • Experience building and shipping user-facing software.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern AI tooling such as prompting, fine tuning, model configuration, or inference pipelines
  • Comfort working with open source models and related tooling
  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems and deliver practical, testable solutions
  • Willingness to experiment quickly, measure results, and iterate
Nice to have
  • Experience with diffusion models or image generation pipelines
  • Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js, or other real‑time visual technologies
  • Experience shaping model behaviour through datasets, prompt patterns, or constraints
  • Understanding of how to balance generative systems with predictable, user‑friendly UX
What Working with Catches Looks Like
  • Remote with optional co‑working access
  • Be part of an experienced team that values shipping, experimentation and autonomy
  • Contribute early to product and architecture decisions
  • Use cutting edge tech to deliver once in a generation consumer facing technology at scale
