The CYP Eating Disorders Intensive Support at Home (ED-ISH) is currently mobilising. This specialist provision delivers intensive, evidence-based care to children & young people experiencing moderate to severe eating disorders. The service model is designed to deliver intensive, flexible & person-centred care for children & young people (CYP) with eating disorders, embedded within the existing CAMHS Eating Disorders Service (CEDS) infrastructure.
Main duties of the job To support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children and young people (CYP) with eating disorders within the CAMHS Day Hospital setting. The postholder will work under the supervision of registered Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) to facilitate group and individual interventions, contribute to care planning, support meal-time management, and assist with assessment, therapeutic activities, and monitoring of physical and mental health needs. The role aims to promote recovery, independence, engagement in meaningful activity, and the development of healthy routines for CYP and their families/carers.
