Contract Role: Agent / Senior Agent Infrastructure Renewals
Location: Heathrow Airport, London
Contract Duration: Long Term

About the Role:
Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Agent or Senior Agent on a contract basis to lead the delivery of the H7 Tunnel Renewals at Heathrow Airport. This is a key role managing critical infrastructure renewal works within the UK's busiest airport.

The H7 Renewals package covers civil repairs including steel and concrete restoration, water ingress management, tunnel accessibility, contraflow traffic management, and approach signage improvements.You will also be working parallel to other projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the works from mobilisation through to project close-out and handover
  
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver project requirements
  
• Ensure compliance with project, contractual, health and safety standards
  
• Proactively manage programme risks, opportunities, and budget controls
  
• Produce and deliver internal and external reporting, maintaining strong client relationships
  
• Champion continuous improvement, efficiency, and sustainability across the project
  
• Drive a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture on site
  

Essential Experience and Skills:

• Proven background in construction and infrastructure projects, ideally within civils, rail, or aviation sectors
  
• Strong project and people management experience on complex or sensitive infrastructure programmes
  
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Detail-oriented with a logical approach to problem-solving
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing competing priorities
  
• Committed to high-quality delivery and exceeding client expectations
  
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams
  

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in aviation infrastructure projects
  
• Knowledge of Heathrow Airport s operational environment
  
• Familiarity with contraflow traffic management and tunnel construction
