After School Care Manager

Location: Wakefield
Contract: Supply, Term-Time Only, Part Time Monday to Friday 3pm-6pm
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner for the right person.

Trust Education is seeking an enthusiastic After School Care Manager to work on a supply basis. You will lead and support a small team of assistants, providing a safe, happy, and stimulating environment where children can play, learn, and develop social skills.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and organise creative after-school activities.
  • Lead, support, and delegate to After School Care Assistants.
  • Maintain registers, records, and rotas.
  • Ensure safety, welfare, and safeguarding of all children.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents.
  • Oversee snack preparation, meeting dietary and hygiene standards.
Requirements of the role:
  • Experience working with children.
  • Level 6 childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to train).
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
