Job summary

A leading recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Bolton. This role involves working with a market-leading defence and aerospace company. Responsibilities include compiling Manufacturing Instructions, designing tooling, and supporting validation processes. Applicants should have a technical apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 and experience with SAP. The role offers £35 per hour inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experienced Manufacturing Engineer with an Apprenticeship and NVQ/SVQ Level 3.
• Proficient in SAP and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to compile and update Manufacturing Instructions.

Responsibilities

• Compile and update Manufacturing Instructions.
• Design, Commission, and prove associated tooling.
• Support industrial validation through FMEA's and FAI's.
• Resolve technical problems during the manufacturing process.
• Manage Configuration Control by integrating Design Modifications into Manufacturing Instructions.
• Support Non-Conformance Process using SAP.

Education

Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21
