Job summary

A dedicated health service provider in Cornwall is seeking a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join their Autism Intensive Support Team. This role includes working with adults with Autism, undertaking assessments, and leading training for health professionals. The ideal candidate will possess significant knowledge and experience with Autism and excellent communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders. The position offers a part-time, permanent contract, with a salary range of £47,810 to £54,710 per year, pro rata.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Adults with Autism.
• Experience assessing and managing complex communication needs.
• Experience in delivering training.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discharge from inpatient Mental Health settings.
• Undertake comprehensive assessments for referrals.
• Lead on training for health and social care workers.
