Overview

Advanced Practitioner. Team: Locality. Location: Bradford. Rate: £37.

Locality social workers required. Come and join us at the trust in the city of culture. We are looking for social workers with experience in working with children in families at CIN, CP, PLO and care proceedings. We offer flexible working arrangements and access to training and support. Our teams are small in structure to ensure good management support and supervision. We ensure that the number of children and families you work with is manageable to ensure that our families are able to receive a good quality service from us.

  • Work with children in families at CIN, CP, PLO and in care proceedings.
  • Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure a good quality service for families.
  • Contribute to a small-team structure that provides supervision and management support.
  • Utilise flexible working arrangements and access to training and support as needed.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced and in date DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to make good decisions based on available information
  • Ability to work independently and within a team/multi-agency settings
  • Knowledge of service needs
  • Competent IT skills and ability to navigate electronic file/recording systems
  • Ability to write clear, concise, robust assessment/reports/files
  • Flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
