Salary: up to 21.04 per hour plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 41 hours per week

Location: Bolton, BL1 2TF. Working away from home and travel throughout the UK will be required as part of the role.

What you'll be doing

• Sort and separate materials for recycling or disposal in an environmentally friendly manner
• Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
• Manage and supervise the burning function, supervision of other burners
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete demolition tasks
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance
• Demolition including structural elements
• Operation of work tools
• Implementation of work in accordance with RAMS
• Interpretation of drawings/instructions
• Structural hot works

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in the use of flame cutting / burning scrap metal using oxy propane
• CCDO ADO card
• Working at height experience whilst burning (previous top burner roles)
• Proven ability to adhere to safety procedures whilst fulfilling daily duties
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
